A huge pile of Himalayan Balsam created by Balsam Bashing on Sunday in Blaise. There is still a lot more to get in that patch. This is the only area of Himalayan Balsam not tackled last year. As we check the rest of the river system so far we have not found much Balsam at all.

Rubbish collected from the Trym this morning. A pretty good haul by 4 people in a couple of hours. All the rubbish is very old, there seems to be little new stuff going into the Trym in this part of Coombe Dingle. However we are having to make several trips to each section of the river as when we clear it more is exposed.
