Cleaning up Hazel Brook

Many of the Groups that make up Trout in the Trym organise activities to improve the ecology of the Trym catchment area by removing litter and other rubbish. The photograph gives an idea if what is dumped in the river. It took several people two hours to remove all this.

Balsam Bashing

SusWoT has organised 5 consecutive nights of clearing Himalayan Balsam from the banks of the Trym. Three nights in and more than 20 volunteers have pulled out a huge number of plants from the Blaise Estate. Still plenty left though.
